Hannah Xieis a cinematographer based in Los Angeles and New York City with a background in Film and media studies. Prior to her studies at American Film Institute, Hannah worked on indie shorts and features screened at festivals such as Slamdance, Tribeca, Palm Springs, Hollyshorts. Her own debut film Brief encounters shot on super 16mm was screened in the museum of the moving image in NYC.  Hannah is particularly interested in stories that examine identity, displacement, and the complexities in everyday life.
